Police Community Support Officers are an important part of our ‘policing family’. Every day, PCSOs are out in the community, providing a high profile, uniformed presence. They play an essential role in preventing crime, gathering intelligence, and reassuring the public.

• Call Handling - A fast-paced and exciting career where you're the first point of contact to GMP, offering immediate and emergency support to the communities of Greater Manchester - making a real difference to people’s lives.
• Crime Recording and Resolution - A victim orientated career where you'll use your problem-solving skills to provide excellent customer service in dealing with reports of crime. 
• Customer Enquiry Team – A customer service focused career where no two days are the same, you'll provide an outstanding service to all callers to GMP, supporting the needs of the public and colleagues alike.
• Dispatch – A career where you'll be at the front end of GMP building trust and confidence within our communities! You'll be responsible for managing and prioritising the deployment of police resources to reports and incidents.
