We only team up with like-minded companies, schemes and charities - so that together we can make a bigger impact within our community.
Our plan is to create a reliable digital platform for veterans to connect. Those who have something to offer (havers) will be linked with those who have a requirement (needers). All of us are both havers and needers. In a crowded area this project has several unique characteristics: It requires subscribers to join to maintain affinity. It measures the quality of connections ensuring the credibility of participants and outcomes
It is inclusive, a ‘network of networks’ that goes 'with the grain' of Government policy
Over time it will become wholly digitally enabled for ease of operation
The data generated will increase impact for subscribers
It will be moderated to answer the unanswerable and signpost solutions including charitable support
This is a not for profit subscription service not a charity. It is designed to cultivate the bond that exists between all veterans, and to convert the hundreds of informal connections that are made between us into a powerful digital network.

Heropreneurs is a military charity, established in 2009 to assist all members of the military community in setting up their own businesses. Through our free, bespoke Mentoring Programme, we provide support through all practical aspects of setting up a business venture. Our prestigious annual awards programme was established in 2018 to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the veteran and wider military community in business, showcasing them as a positive economic asset.
Forces Families Jobs
Forces Families Jobs know that being a military family member often means moving with your serving partner, gaps in CVs and regularly changing jobs and/or career. They also recognise that partners of military personnel have a wealth of knowledge, skills, expertise and work ethic to share with employers!
Forces Families Jobs have ensured that all employers who advertise on their site have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and their company profiles can be found within the ‘Employers Directory’ section, where they explain their individual commitment to being forces family friendly.
Support for people transitioning out of the Armed Forces and into mainstream society covers aspects of employment and some briefings on finances and housing. Reports such as the Transition Mapping Study, Veterans Transition Review and Lifting the Lid on Transition support the need for a holistic model of support, yet nothing is changing quickly. Our combined experience and the available evidence shows that an effective, holistic model of support must include consideration for the cultural and values-based obstacles to healthy transition that are unique to people leaving service, and must therefore be developed with the maximum possible input from the people who it is designed to support.
