In 1986 we recognised that people leaving in-patient mental health services needed a Bridge to support them as they re-established themselves safely in the community.

We started as a small organisation and have grown into the main provider of mental health services in Greenwich.

We now operate services in South East London including Greenwich, Bexley, Bromley, Lewisham, Lambeth & Southwark. In Essex, we cover Colchester, Harlow, and Waltham Abbey. We are also happy to discuss delivering services in other areas.

We don’t do it alone. We work with partners including The NHS, CCGs and local authorities, and we have established strategic partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations as well as a range of housing partners.

Together we help over 2,000 people a year with drug, alcohol and substance abuse, via services such as:

24 Hour Support High

Medium Support

Flexible Community Support Low

Forensic Services

Recovery College

Women Only

Supporting independence through the best services, based on the best evidence, with the best culture

We understand the complexity of providing mental health services that serve the needs of the individual in a health care system under pressure due to increasing demand and shrinking budgets.

We firmly believe we can help by providing flexible pathways to help people who no longer need to be in hospital navigate their way back to living independently within the community.

To achieve this, we work together with Mental Health Commissioners to provide the best possible opportunities for our clients through support, training, and encouragement.
