How did the JobOppO community assist you?
I discovered an extremely exciting role that matched a great deal of my previous experience in a location I have a huge affinity with. It is somewhat niche and would not have easily slotted into an established job category or industry segment.
Why would you recommend the JobOppO community to your OppOs?
Without question. There are ex-military in senior positions within the recruiting employer who made the decision to use JobOppO based on their trust in the pool of talent available. I will be using this platform myself to search for new team members.
What do you think makes us different?
There is such a strong bond within the military, both serving and veterans, that cuts through any civilian misunderstanding of the skill sets on offer. Equally, the cross-referencing of knowing others who both employer and employee have served alongside provides an invaluable and subtle reference check on the individual.
What might you do to assist other OppOs who are “Changing Gear”?
I would happily participate in any webinar or live events to highlight the strategy required when making this big change.
