With six floors of gaming, London’s largest dedicated poker floor, a multi-award-winning steak house, 326-seat Magic Mike Live theatre, eight bars and a brand new three-floor outdoor terrace, there’s simply nothing to compare us to in the West End of London.

Housed within the former Hippodrome Theatre, our main door opens onto one of Europe’s busiest thoroughfares, while the world’s largest ‘Chinatown’ community sits just alongside.

After 120 years the Hippodrome is still as famous, dynamic and inventive as it’s ever been.

Gaming

With a total of five floors of gaming, the Hippodrome has three uniquely-themed casinos, world-class table gaming, electronic games, slots and an entire floor dedicated to poker.

The Grand Casino on the ground floor boasts 360-degree views of the magnificent auditorium including the original theatre’s Minstrel’s Gallery 60ft above.

Lola’s Casino on the lower ground floor has a speakeasy vibe, with a vast selection of tables games, electronics and a magnificent 12 metre, high-definition screen to view your play.

The Gods on the fourth floor, adjacent to the Rooftop Terrace, includes the only Dice Table in Central London.

Events & Live Entertainment

Our wide range of conference, product launch and private party spaces includes the Magic Mike Theatre, the Boozy Tea Room and Heliot Steak House which can all be hired for special events from 10 to 100 people.

There’s also the Rooftop Terrace with views over Soho, private rooms and bar areas throughout the venue.

Live theatre: Our theatre here at the Hippodrome Casino has undergone a multi-million-pound transformation to create an intimate, state-of-the-art for the exclusive showing of Magic Mike Live.

We have eight bars across six floors, including our recently extended outdoor terrace which now includes a third tier overlooking Soho.

Heliot Steak House

Voted the Best Steak House in London and triple award winner of Best Casino Restaurant at the British Casino Awards, Heliot Steak House has become a West End legend.

We serve USDA prime steaks because…well, we think they’re simply the best in the world. Aged to develop tenderness and flavour, they come with a selection of toppings and sauces.

Executive Chef Ioannis Grammenos revises the menu every three months and adds some wonderful specials every week. For those who want something other than steak, there’s fish, lamb, chicken and pasta dishes and some vegetarian options too.

"I joined the Army when I was 18, and was medically discharged at 22. I struggled for over a year to find a job that interested me half as much as being a Mechanic in the REME had. I stumbled into the Casino industry by chance 15 years ago, and by doing so, I didn't just find a job, I found a career.

Having worked in two casinos in Bradford and Leeds, I applied at a new Casino opening in Leicester Square in 2012, that Casino was the Hippodrome, it was and is totally different to the previous Casinos I'd worked in, and I'm happy to say I'm here still. As a venue, it never stops changing, new floors have been built, and floors have been remodelled many times in the 9 years since we opened, and there's still more improvements planned. The Hippodrome also encourages personal improvement, through educational and training programs, so you never feel stuck in the same place.
