The UK Services team are responsible for managing the in life contracted services to all our customers. We engage directly with our customers to ensure Computacenter delivers on our contractual commitments, whilst ensuring our services are aligned to meet our customers' business needs. Driving continual improvement and operational efficiency is a constant focus of the team and we do this by leveraging the best practice and capability within our shared services factory.

Main Responsibilities

You will be part of a friendly UK Services team based on site for one of our prestigious customers, responsible for finding practical solutions to IT problems. You will be responsible for ensuring all in scope services (Service Level Management Reporting) are delivered wholly, against contractual obligation, also for working with our virtual teams to pro-actively add value to the customer in the supply chain space. The Service level Manager will provide support to the Service Management team associated to the customer contract and to the wider Computacenter Service Management community, where necessary.

We're also looking for someone who is part qualified with the relevant professional qualification and has experience of managing a team of non-technical and technical staff, as well as a good knowledge of relevant functional systems and experience in developing best practice policies and procedures for functional areas. Service Manager's provide an advisory role within a specialist area to the peer group, customers and if applicable direct reports, participate in and co-ordinate projects relevant to specialist area, manages, develops and coaches a team of staff and implements performance management solutions where required. You will be expected to adopt Computacenter's best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service and also act in accordance with CC's Information's Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other security risks to the organisation.

Ability to handle difficulties, performance problems and conflict between functional teams, produce regular and ad-hoc service achievement reports ensuring adherence to standards.
