Package

  • 37.5hrs per week

Main Responsibilities

A new opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities team based in Hatfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a pro-active and professional Cleaning Service throughout Computacenter's Head Office.

Role Responsibility

  • To manage the Cleaning Team made up of 15 Operatives effectively.
  • To lead, develop and retrain cleaning staff to deliver quality services in the most efficient and effective manner and achieve a "One Team" approach within the business
  • Audit the work carried out by cleaners in order to ensure a high standard of work is undertaken and maintained.
  • To monitor time-keeping performance and attendance of cleaning team
  • Maintain excellent relationships within the Company and Suppliers.
  • Responsibility for ordering supplies of cleaning materials and stock control
  • To ensure risk and method statements are reviewed and updated regularly
  • Ensure that all chemical and cleaning solutions are used correctly in line with manufactures and company operating procedures COSHH
  • Ensure colour coding BICS is adhered to at all times alongside safe cleaning practices
  • Management of waste control and knowledge on ISO14001 desirable, but not essential



Ideal Candidate

  • A number of years cleaning experience at a Supervisor or Team Leader level
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
  • An understanding of IT including Word, Excel
  • A basic understanding how to manage operational costings and budgets
  • Good communication skills
  • Health and Safety experience
  • BICs cleaning qualification or equivalent is also desirable, but not essential
