The Group Treasury team is responsible for ensuring that Computacenter maintains the appropriate liquidity for the management of the business. The team manages the Group's cash deposits, ensuring that funds are placed in accordance with the Board mandate while maximising the interest return. The team is also responsible for ensuring that vendors payments are generated and made on time. Exposure by the Group to foreign currencies is also actively managed by Treasury. The team provides advice to the business on currency exposure, ensuring that deals can be structured so that adverse currency fluctuations can be minimised.

Main Responsibilities

As an Accounts assistant (treasury team) you will be responsible for:

  • Net Funds - calculating Net Funds for UK, FR and BE, updating historic trackers for all three Countries and Group. Update Net Funds forecast for UK, FR and BE with Debtors, Sales and Plan figures
  • Vendor forecasts - updating vendor forecasts for Net funds and analyse differences.
  • Cash - update cash flows with current data from Net Funds/Vendor forecasts/payment runs.
  • Complete the Cash pool interest spreadsheet, post interest and raise payments.
  • Payment Runs - raise payments, ensure all relevant documentation is provided for MX/CH/IN
  • Input payments onto the Banking system for US
  • Print payment run documentation for UK/BE
  • Ensure all payments runs are authorised by the signatories on the relevant system within the correct timeframe.
  • Calculate currency required for intercompany invoices, ensuring correct currency booked/hedged and rates set on SAP with relevant departments notified.
  • Ensure intercompany invoices are cleared by Accounts payable/escalated for prompt/early payments if requested.
  • Month End reconciliations, journals, revaluations
  • Procedures completed and current
  • Cross Treasury cover/support
  • Other Adhoc Treasury duties


Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong MS Excel experience and will have previous finance experience.
